ExhibitionsThe Museum has over 600,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits. The Bruce King Building features the large Main Gallery, where long-term exhibits on New Mexico's agricultural heritage are displayed. The building also has the Temporary Gallery and the north, south, and central corridors, each featuring rotating exhibits. Exhibits in the Skaggs Dairy Barn interpret the New Mexico dairy industry. The Sheep & Goat Barn and the Beef Barn (opening in 2007) will include exhibits on cowboy life, the New Mexico beef industry, and the history and heritage of sheep production in the region. Outdoors, visitors can stroll along the pathways in the Antique Equipment Park, view gardens and orchards, visit the "Watering Place" sculpture, and take a guided cart tour to see and learn about the livestock that are important to New Mexico's history and modern producers. We have so many exhibits, we can't list them all here! Click on the links on the left side to learn more about our temporary, permanent, and forthcoming exhibitions at the Museum. |
