Exhibit Opening: Dressed for the Occasion
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
In this exhibit, you will learn about women’s clothing from the pioneer days of the 1870s to the Depression Era of the 1930s. The exhibit focuses on clothing worn for “everyday” as well as special events like weddings, funerals, and baptism. Under garments are included, as well as accessories such as hats and gloves. Lots of dresses and lots of historic photographs.

This opening reception on April 5 is free and features costumed interpreters, as well as refreshments.

The exhibit will be in the Museum's Legacy gallery through March 3, 2019.
