Welcome to the basics at the Farm & Ranch Museum. Enjoy!

Grind corn in the "Agricultural Beginnings" exhibit.
Learn how cooking evolved from using an horno in the "Spanish Colonial Home" to a cast iron stove in "Home Sweet Home" in the Heritage/Main Gallery.

The Blacksmith Shop

Watch a blacksmith create tools using a forge and an anvil at the Blacksmith Shop. Call 575-522-4100 to see if the Blacksmith is working during your visit.

The Greenhouse (Closed for renovations)

During special annual events, you can purchase of vegetables and herbs from the Greenhouse

Saddle Makers of the Southwest

Learn about working with leather in the Saddle Exhibit in the Red Barn on the South 20.

Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Museum & Gift Shop are closed on Sunday.
