Welcome to all things for kids at the Farm & Ranch Museum. Enjoy!

All Aboard the Ag Wagon!

The Ag Wagon is a program for children covering a wide variety of agriculture-based topics. The program is on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Museum. Our goal is to create interactive activities that can be modified to best suit all kids. Regular admission applies.

Explore Past to Present Agriculture

Experience agriculture of this region from grinding corn by hand in the Heritage Gallery to driving a tractor simulator in the AgrAbility exhibit.

Ponies & Horses

See the ponies and horses on the South 20.
Children can ride ponies on Saturday
from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. (cash only).

Sheep & Wool

Learn all about sheep and wool in the Sheep Barn.

Vintage Games

Play vintage games in the Mercantile. Learn how early settlers in New Mexico shopped for clothing, food, and supplies.

Coming Soon! Jardín de Tortugas Pueblo

The education Discovery Garden has been officially named “Jardín de Tortugas Pueblo” by a vote from the Museum’s governing board and should be open by end of summer 2025. Our Moon Tree is planted in this garden too. Stay tuned for an opening date!

Playgrounds

Enjoy our playgrounds, both inside and outside of the Museum. Find the Adventure Corral indoors and the Green Stagecoach, spring horses, and swings on the South 20.

The Museum & Gift Shop are closed on Sunday.
