Experience a history like no other

For at least 4,000 years, people have been growing food in this region, and the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum tells this amazing story through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, oral histories, objects, and educational programs.

It’s a story of survival, ingenuity, and hope. It connects generations, and weaves together people from various cultures that are uniquely New Mexico.

2020 Online Summer Camps

Though you may not be able to come see us in-person, you can still farm with us this summer! Beginning in June, our Museum will be offering two- and three-day summer camps so children have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of topics including gardening, historical performance, fiber arts, and archaeology.

Additionally, the first few camps will be offered 100% free. We want to provide a positive highlight for you, and your family during this unusual summer.

To inquire about upcoming summer camps, contact LuAnn Kilday at (575) 522-4100, ext.103.

Enjoy demonstrations each day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
