The Friends of the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum presented a check for $27,000 to the Museum on Thursday, May 25. The money will be used to help preserve the antique tractors, provide feed for the livestock, and enhance the overall educational experience for children and other visitors to the Museum.

The state Department of Cultural Affairs museum in Las Cruces preserves and shares the 4,000-year history of growing food in the region through exhibits, educational programs, events, oral histories, artifacts, and a livestock program that is considered a “national model,” according to American Alliance of Museum reviewers.
