Enrich your life and the lives of others by becoming a volunteer! The Museum offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities. You can help educate the public about the diverse and fascinating agricultural heritage of New Mexico as a tour guide. Or, if you would rather, help behind the scenes in such areas as landscaping or clerical.
The Museum provides interesting and informative training classes for our volunteers. These are taught by experts in the field and cover a diverse range of topics such as livestock, blacksmithing, and saddle making. In addition, there are many fun activities year-round including field trips, socials, and special dinners. It’s easy to make new friends here! MISSION STATEMENT

The New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum connects the present generation to the history of farming and ranching in New Mexico, inspiring a deeper appreciation and understanding of the state’s rich heritage.

The museum accomplishes this by providing exhibitions and programs that enable its users to understand and learn from the past in ways that enrich their present lives and help them shape a better future.
