National History Day

Join secondary classrooms from throughout southern New Mexico as they do historical research and compete at regional, state and national contests for prizes and scholarships. This is a collaborative effort between the Museum, the New Mexico Humanities Council, and the New Mexico State University History Department and Library.www.nhd.org

Las Cruces Convention and Visitors Bureau

Museum staff works with the Las Cruces CVB to promote the area as a destination for tour groups and visitors from all over the world. The CVB always suggests the Museum as place to visit while in Las Cruces.http://www.lascrucescvb.org/

Doña Ana County Extension Service

Over 1,000 local 4th graders visit the Museum each year for Kids, Kows and More, an event which exposes students to many different aspects of agriculture. The Museum hosts the event and provides assistance to the Extension Service staff and volunteers. Doña Ana County Extension Service also works with the Museum at other events and venues including the Southern New Mexico State Fair.http://donaanaextension.nmsu.edu/
