“All Aboard the Ag Wagon” is a new educational program at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum.

The program is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Saturday in the Museum’s Theater. With a different theme each week, a variety of activities are planned for children ages 6 to 12. Adults are welcome to attend or participate as well.

There are monthly and weekly themes that will continue through 2022. The theme for January is Birds and Native Birds is the topic for the Jan. 8 activity. Alex Mares of the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is the guest teacher on Jan. 8.

Winter on the Farm is the theme for February and Agriculture is featured in March.

Each participant will receive a passport booklet and stickers for the booklet will be handed out each Saturday. The activities are tied to each week’s theme.

Regular museum admission is required to participate in the program — $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, and $3 for children 4 to 17. This program is made possible with the support of the Friends of the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum.
