Nov. 22 – HomeGrown: A New Mexico Food Show & Gift Market
This eleventh-annual event showcases the food grown in New Mexico. The Museum partners with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture for this popular two-day event as gift-giving season approaches. Attendees can expect about 60 vendors, the majority representing a variety of food and beverage companies from around the state, many of which are New Mexico —Taste the Tradition® and Grown with Tradition® members. Each booth will offer locally produced products, such as salsas, nuts, candy, and wine for attendees to sample and purchase. The show also features handmade art and crafts made from agricultural resources. Admission is $10 per vehicle.
During this event, kids and families can get a taste of the Ag Wagon education program on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn about sheep and spin their own wool bracelets.
