4-H Achievement Day on Display

August 1 - August 10

Display in the Arts Corridor during museum hours

Join us in celebrating our young people as the results of Doña Ana County 4-H Achievement Day are featured on display Aug. 1-10.

Doña Ana County 4-H is a segment of the Doña Ana County Fair that offers youth the chance to present non-livestock exhibits.

This event serves as a qualifier for members advancing to the New Mexico State Fair and the 4-H Red Barn at the Southern New Mexico State Fair. Participants showcase skills honed over the past year in areas such as animal science, natural science, STEM, personal growth and development, creative arts, home economics, food and nutrition, consumer education, home management, and family life.

Judges evaluate the exhibits, providing feedback and determining rankings in each category. Participants receive ribbons and premiums for their work. Additionally, awards for Best of Show will be presented to one novice, junior, and senior 4-H member.
